ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works
Act 1928 notice is hereby given that the Rotorua County
Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening
of the Te Kuiti-Whakatane via Atiamuri State Highway No.
30 in the County of Rotorua, and for the purposes of such
public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that
a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the
public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at the
Corner of Ranolf and Amohau Streets, Rotorua, and is open
for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such lands who have any well
grounded objections to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections
in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the
first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the
Council Chambers at the corner of Ranolf and Amohau
Streets, Rotorua (postal address, P.O. Box 5028, Rotorua
South).

GROUND AND TO STOP PORTION OF ROAD
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works
Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Rotorua County
Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision
of recreation ground and the stopping of a portion of a
public road known as Tamaki Street in the County of Rotorua,
and for the purposes of such public work the lands described
in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and
portion of the said road, being the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto, is required to be stopped; and notice
is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to
be taken and the portion of the said road to be stopped is
deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the above
Council, situate at the corner of Ranolf and Amohau Streets,
Rotorua, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all
persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work, by the taking of the said land, or by the stopping of
the said portion of the said road who have any well grounded

MOUNT WELLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT
Consent to Departure from Mount Wellington District Scheme
It is hereby notified that, on the 29th day of November 1963,
the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board consented to
a specified departure from the provisions of the Mount
Wellington Borough Council's Operative District Scheme, pur-
suant to an application made by Pinchin Johnson and Co.
(New Zealand) Ltd., by permitting the applicant company to
carry on, on the land described in the Schedule hereto, the
business or manufacturing processes of the compounding and
manufacturing of varnish, enamel, french polish, and lacquer,
provided that the processes used shall be provided with
efficient and properly maintained fume extractors to the
satisfaction of the Council and such that no objectionable or
detrimental elements be created.
SCHEDULE
All that parcel of land situated at Carbine Road, Mount
Wellington, and containing firstly, eleven acres thirty-nine
decimal one perches (11 a. 39-1 p.), a little more or less, being
Lot 2, Deposited Plan 41551, and being all the land comprised
and described in certificate of title, Volume 1146, folio 86
(Auckland Registry), subject to fencing covenant in convey-
ances 321197 and 321634; and, secondly, one rood five perches
(1 r. 5 p.), a little more or less, being Lot 5, Deposited Plan
49095, and being part of Hamlin's Grant, and being all the
land in certificate of title, Volume 1950, folio 38 (Auckland
Registry).
