HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redeption Loan No. 2, 1963, £2,490
THE Hutt County Council, at its meeting held on 12 December 1963, passed the following resolution:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,490 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying that portion of the principal in the Andrews River Bridge (Birchville) Loan 1953 which matures on 1 March 1964, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal 051 pence in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Rimutaka Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £3,200 to be known as the Tahunanui Drainage Extension Renewal Loan 1964 authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Tahunanui Drainage Extension Loan 1954 which matures on 29 March 1964, the Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·018531 pence in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the City of Nelson comprising the whole of the said City, and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held at the City Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on the 23rd day of January 1964.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Tokoroa Theatre Redemption Loan 1964, £22,200
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-two thousand two hundred pounds (£22,200) authorised to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Tokoroa Theatre Loan 1953, £37,000, which matures on 1 March 1964, the said Matamata County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven nought six pence (0·0706d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tokoroa Theatre special rating area in the County of Matamata; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Matamata County Council held on the 23rd day of January 1964.

BOROUGH OF MOTUEKA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioners' Flats Loan 1963, £4,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Motueka Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Motueka Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting pensioners' flats, the said Motueka Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one sixty-fourth of a penny (⅟₆₄ᵈ.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Motueka; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments, notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for a street at Karaka Bay Road in the City of Wellington, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send that writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his office.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF ROAD
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Waitotara County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to take the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto for road.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said piece of land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at No. 331 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, and is open to inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the taking of the said land who have any well grounded objection to the taking of the said land must state their objection in writing and send the same, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.
