Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve and Specifying the Manner of Disposal

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Te Awamutu Borough Council by transfer to the owner of Lot 5, D.P. S. 3324, being part allotment 277, Puniu Parish, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 1255, folio 94, in exchange for Lot 3, D.P. S. 5991, being part allotment 277, Puniu Parish, which has been reserved and vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Te Awamutu as a recreation reserve under the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.

Scheme of Control of Thames High School

Pursuant to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Thames High School, published in the Gazette of 11 May 1961, Volume II, page 683, and approves of Thames High School being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961:*

Provided that the said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the clause set out in the Schedule hereto were inserted after clause 12.

SCHEDULE

Clause to be read as part of Standard Scheme:

“12A. (1) In every case where any member is to be elected by the members of the school committees of the public schools to which paragraph (d), of clause 2, of the Thames High School Board of Governors Order 1963 applies, every such member shall be so elected by postal ballot in a manner approved by the Board.

“(2) Such an election shall be held in the month of May in the year 1964 and every third year thereafter, or as soon thereafter as may be convenient, on a date to be fixed by the Thames High School Board of Governors. For the purposes of every such election, the Secretary of the Board shall be the returning officer.”

Crown Land Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in the Borough of Stratford
