WHANGAREI CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of the City of Whangarei District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 3rd day of June 1964, the Council has recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto.

The changes of the district scheme, as now recommended by the Council, have been deposited in the Town Hall and the public library and are there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objection to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked "Objection to Scheme Change" and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 27th day of July 1964. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available from the Town Hall or from the public library.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

Maori Trust Office: Notice of Administration Under Part IV of the Administration Act 1952

IN the matter of the Administration Act 1952 and in the matter of the estate of Taihina Paraire Karaka Paikea, also known as Tapihana Paraire Paikea, late of 19 Walsall Street, Avondale, but now deceased, notice is hereby given that the Maori Trustee was, by an order made by the Maori Land Court on the 8th day of July 1963, authorised to administer the estate of the said Taihina Paraire Karaka Paikea, also known as Tapihana Paraire Paikea, under Part IV of the said Act, and that the said estate will, as from the date aforesaid, be administered, realised, and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of bankruptcy. Notice is further given that I do hereby summon a meeting of creditors of the above estate to be held at the office of the Department of Maori Affairs, situated in Emily Place, Auckland, on the 29th day of June 1964, at 10 a.m.

Notice is also given that all creditors, whether they have already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove their debts within the time and in the manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act 1908. Proof of debt forms may be procured at my office.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

THE GRAND LODGE OF FREEMASONS OF NEW ZEALAND TRUSTEES AMENDMENT BILL

In the matter of The Grand Lodge of Freemasons of New Zealand Trustees' Amendment Bill 1964, being a private bill intituled, "An Act to amend the Grand Lodge of Freemasons of New Zealand Trustees Act 1903", notice is hereby given

that the person hereinafter named as promoter of the abovementioned Bill intends to present a petition to the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled during the present session for leave to bring in the above-mentioned Bill.

The objects of the Bill are:

  1. To extend the provisions of the Grand Lodge of Freemasons of New Zealand Trustees Act 1903, by adding to the definition of "Craft Lodge" as therein set out the following words:

"and shall include The Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of New Zealand and any of its chapters or other subordinate bodies."

  1. To repeal The Grand Lodge of Freemasons of New Zealand Trustees Amendment Act 1957.

The promoter of the Bill is Frederick George Northern, of Wellington, Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of Antient, Free, and accepted Masons of New Zealand. The address of the promoter is care of Messrs Luckie, Hain, Kennard, and Sclater, Solicitors, 3rd Floor, D.I.C. Building, Brandon Street, Wellington to which address all communications and notices may be sent. Printed copies of the Bill have been deposited in the office of the Clerk of the House of Representatives on the 18th day of May 1964, and at the offices of Messrs Luckie, Hain, Kennard, and Sclater aforesaid where the said copies may be inspected and obtained.
