WOOLWORTHS (NEW ZEALAND) LTD.

LOST STOCK CERTIFICATE

APPLICATION has been made to the above company to issue a new certificate of title in lieu of original certificate No. Z 398, issued in the name of Agnes Fahey, now deceased, of 3-50 Kirkwood Avenue, Christchurch, and the executors in the estate have made a statutory declaration that the original certificate of title to the said stock has been lost. Notice is hereby given that unless within 30 days from the date hereof there is made to the company some claim or representation in respect of the said original certificate a new certificate will be issued in place thereof.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and Booth and Co. (England) Ltd. (registered as an overseas company), pursuant to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that Booth and Co. (England) Ltd., duly incorporated in England and having its registered office in London intends to cease to have a place of business in New Zealand on the expiration of three months from the first date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.

CITY OF ROTORUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners' Flats Loan 1964, £17,300

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventeen thousand three hundred pounds (£17,300) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Pensioners' Flats Loan 1964 of seventeen thousand three hundred pounds (£17,300) authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three one pence (0·031d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Rotorua City Council passed on Tuesday, 26 May 1964.

CITY OF ROTORUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rotorua City Council Redemption Loan 1964, £21,300

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-one thousand three hundred pounds (£21,300) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Redemption Loan 1964 of twenty-one thousand three hundred pounds (£21,300) authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Water Supply and Reticulation Loan 1950, which matured on 31 March 1964, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six nine pence (0·069d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Rotorua City Council passed on Tuesday, 28 April 1964.

UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Footpaths Construction Loan No. 3, 1964, £20,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Upper Hutt Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing permanent footpaths in the Borough, the said Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ninety-five thousandths of a penny in the pound (0·095d. in the £) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year, until the loan is fully repaid."

The foregoing resolution was passed at the ordinary meeting of the Upper Hutt Borough Council, held in the council chambers, Main Road Upper Hutt, on Tuesday the 26th day of May 1964.

MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Improvement Redemption Loan 1964

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,900 authorised to be raised by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Water Supply Improvement Loan 1953, which matures on 1 June 1964, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one four eight pence (0·148d.) in the pound on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property which formed the Borough of Morrinsville prior to the extension of the borough boundaries on 1 April 1958; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 30th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Morrinsville Borough Council, held on the 26th day of May 1964.
