PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the
Mount Wellington Borough Council to reclaim from the
Tamaki River an area of 1 acre and 35 perches, more or less,
as shown coloured yellow on plan marked M.D. 11785 and
deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the
following order.
ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Whitianga Harbour Order
  2. The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
    declared to be the limits of the Whitianga Harbour.
  3. The Warrant dated the 1st day of April 1925 defining
    the limits of Mercury Bay Harbour is hereby revoked.
    SCHEDULE
    ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Coromandel
    County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the
    mean high-water mark in Block X, Otama Survey District,
    being the northernmost corner of part Weiti No. 1 Block
    (recreation reserve), D.P. 23068; thence generally southerly,
    easterly, and northerly, by the line of mean high water of the
    Whitianga Harbour in Block X, aforesaid, and in Block I,
    Whitianga Survey District, to a point on the line of mean
    high water, in Block VII, Otama Survey District, bearing
    313° 40', distance 10 links from iron spike X on D.P. S. 6867;
    thence south-westerly by a right line to the point of
    commencement.
