SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

COMMENCING at a point on the centre line of the Awanui-Bluff State Highway No. 1 at its intersection with the centre line of Talbot Street adjoining Section 1, Block XXVI, Town of East Gore; and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 39 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, etc., viz, Talbot Street, railway land, being portion South Island Main Trunk Railway, Railway Esplanade, situated in the Town of East Gore and terminating at a point directly opposite the intersection of Wentworth Street and Railway Esplanade: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18478 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of May 1964.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of June 1964.
