Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of Street at Taihape

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become street and that the said street shall be under the control of the Taihape Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land allocated to street:

A. R. P. Being
0 0 26·11 Part railway land in Gazette, 1903, page 1020,
situated in Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey
District, Taihape Borough (S.O. 25568).

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 19091 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of January 1964.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY

SECTIONS 1, 2, 4, and 6 and part Section 3, Block VI, Tadmor Survey District, Waimea County: Area, 1,103 acres and 37 perches, more or less. As shown on plan No. 108/103 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of December 1963.

Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Blocks II and III, Clutha Survey District

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Otago Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of January 1964.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Clutha Survey District, Otago R.D., described as follows:

Situated in Block II.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18117 (S.O. 13412) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of January 1964.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for soil conservation and river control purposes.
