RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board Renewal Loan 1964, £120,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board held on the 12th day of April 1964, the following resolution was passed.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £120,000 (one hundred and twenty thousand pounds) authorised to be raised by the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming portions of the loans known as the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board Reticulation Extension Loan 1954, £330,000 first portion £100,000, and the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board Reticulation Extension Loan 1954, £330,000, second portion £100,000, the said Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of two thirds of one penny (⅔ of 1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 26th day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BOROUGH OF KAWERAU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Land Purchase and Development Loan 1964, £45,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kawerau Borough Board of Commissioners hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of forty-five thousand pounds (£45,000) authorised to be raised by the Kawerau Borough Board of Commissioners, under the above-mentioned Act for purchasing and developing land and renovating an existing building, the said Kawerau Borough Board of Commissioners hereby makes a special rate of point one pence (0·1d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Kawerau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Aerodrome Development Loan 1963, £11,425
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Queenstown Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £11,425 authorised to be raised by the Queenstown Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land for, and the development of, the Queenstown Aerodrome, and the said Queenstown Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·52833d. in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Queenstown; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and will be payable half yearly on the 1st day of May and the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Aerodrome Development Loan No. 2 1963, £3,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Queenstown Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,000 authorised to be raised by the Queenstown Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of constructing a terminal building, installing water and sewerage therein, providing roading and parking areas, and ancillary works at Queenstown Aerodrome, the said Queenstown Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·13231d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Queenstown Borough; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and will be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HAURAKI PLAINS COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Hauraki Plains County Council office at Ngatea and is there open for inspection, and that every person affected by the taking of the land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the said Council at Ngatea.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres, more or less, situated in Block VIII, Piako Survey District, being part Section 40, Block VIII, Piako Survey District (Waitakaruru Settlement); as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Hauraki Plains County Plan No. 263, deposited in the office of the said Council at Ngatea, and thereon coloured blue.

TAUMARUNUI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
———
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the Taumarunui County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of an aerodrome, and for the purposes of such work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required.
And notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land required to be taken are deposited at the public office of the said Council situated at Miriama Street, Taumarunui, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary business hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by taking of such lands if they have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objection in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, on the 6th day of May 1964, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

Description of land: All that piece of land containing eight acres and thirty-one perches (8 a. and 31 p.) situated in Block XIII of Tuhua Survey District, being Ohura South A 3E 2C 3B 3C 2C 2B 1A, and all that piece of land containing thirty-eight decimal two perches (38·2 p.), situated in Block XIII of Tuhua Survey District, being Ohura South A 3E 23CB 3C 2C 2B 1B (road line).
