RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: "That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe Borough Council under the above-named Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Great South Road Improvement Loan 1953 which matures on the 1st day of July 1964, the said Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0843d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Papatoetoe; and that the special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off." THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: "That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £35,000 authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe Borough Council under the above-named Act, for the purpose of providing storm-water drainage, the said Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·1387d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Papatoetoe; and that the special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
