Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Tourist Hotel Corporation Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be administered by the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zealand for the purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 5074, situated in Block XV, Pukaki West Survey District: Area, 4 acres 1 rood 31·5 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 9655L). Site for the Pukaki Hotel.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

  1. The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County of Horowhenua and included in the Borough of Levin.
  2. The alteration of the boundaries of the said County and the said Borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Horowhenua County, containing 5 acres and 28 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 13492, being a point on the north-eastern boundary of the area added to the Borough of Levin and described in Gazette, 1963, page 1077, and proceeding north-westerly along that boundary to, and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that area to its intersection with a line parallel to, and 250 links north-eastward of the said north-eastern boundary; thence south-easterly along that parallel line to its intersection with the north-western boundary of Lot 11, D.P. 1824; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the north-western boundary of Lot 13, D.P. 1824, to the point of commencement.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Ruahine Rabbit District Order 1964.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Ruahine Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of February 1963,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE RUAHINE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Feilding, Counties of Oroua, Kiwitea, and Pohangina, part Counties of Rangitikei and Woodville, containing 565,300 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Rangitikei River in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 19528, in Block XII, Rangitoto Survey District, and proceeding generally north-easterly up the middle of that river to its confluence with the Kawhatau River; thence generally easterly up the middle of the Kawhatau River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VI, Ruahine Survey District; thence generally northerly to and along the generally eastern boundary of that section and the southern boundary of Lot 2, Section 2, Block II, Ruahine Survey District, to Trig. Station H (Colenso), along a right line to Trig. Station C (Check), and along the generally north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block XIV, Pukeokahu Survey District, and its production to the middle of the Rangitikei River and up the middle of that river to a point on a right line between Trig. Station 30 (Aorangi); in Block XI, Pukeokahu Survey District, and Trig. Station 32, (Papakai), in Block XV, Ohinewairua Survey District; thence easterly along that right line to Trig. Station 30 (Aorangi); thence south-easterly along a right line between that trig. station and the confluence of the Makaroro River and the north branch of the Waipawa River to the summit of the Ruahine Range; thence generally southerly and south-westerly along that summit to Trig. Station Wharite, in Block VII, Gorge Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 6, 2, and 5, Block VII aforesaid, along a right line across Wharite Road to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 11 and 13, Block II, Gorge Survey District, Sections 4 and 6, Block IV, Gorge Survey District, crossing Saddle Road and along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 10 and 11, Block IV, Gorge Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Manawatu River; thence westerly down the middle of that river to a
