HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the Borough
of Mount Maunganui, hereby revokes the Order in Council
of the 21st day of March 1960, published in the Gazette of 31
March 1960, page 414, granting control in Tauranga Harbour
of part of the foreshore, as shown on plan marked M.D.
6639 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at
Wellington, to the Mount Maunganui Domain Board.

Pursuant to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Ex-
cellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the
Auckland Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea at Shoal Bay,
Takapuna, an area of 7 perches, more or less, as shown
coloured pink on plan marked M.D. 11773 and deposited
in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Trustees of Makaretu Cemetery Appointed

Pursuant to the Cemeteries Act 1908, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby appoint the Waipawa County Council to
be the trustees of the Makaretu Cemetery, being the area
described in the Schedule hereto, and the said Council shall
have the control and management of that cemetery.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Hawkeβs Bay Land District containing
1 acre and 15-5 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P.
10037, and Lot 1, D.P. 113, being part of Block 53, Makaretu
Crown Grant District, situated in Block V, Ruataniwha Survey
District, and being all the land comprised and described in
certificates of title, H.B. Volume 183, folio 63, and H.B.
Volume 92, folio 170 (Hawkeβs Bay Land Registry); as shown
on plan marked 191/2/742 held in the office of the Department
of Health, Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General this 21st day of April 1964.

The under-mentioned Corporals are granted short-service
commissions in the Technical Branch (Engineer Division),

Corporal William Donald Shotton (76741) is granted a
short-service commission in the Administrative and Supply
Branch (Equipment Division), Regular Air Force, for a
period ending 6 January 1976 to be followed by four years
in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is appointed in the
rank of Pilot Officer, with seniority and effect from 7
