In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of J. S. Morrow and Co. Ltd. (in liquidation), notice is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of J. S. Morrow and Co. Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 15th day of May 1964 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

Ltd., notice is hereby given that by an entry in its minute book, signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named company, on the 21st day of April 1964, passed a resolution for voluntary winding up, and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will accordingly be held at the Magistrate’s Court, Miriama Street, Taumarunui, on Friday, the 1st day of May 1964, at 2 p.m.

Notice Calling Final Meeting
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Crawford and Sons Ltd. (in liquidation), notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the offices of Hickey and Simpson, Public Accountants, Maunganui Road, Mount Maunganui, on Monday, the 11th day of May 1964, at 2 p.m. for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator and to consider the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution:
“That the books and papers of the company be retained by the liquidator of the company.”
Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of him. A proxy need not also be a member.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Works Loan 1963, £15,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing storm-water drainage, works depot, footpaths, and general works improvements, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nineteen one-hundredths of a penny (0·19d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Whakatane Borough Council at a meeting held on 23 March 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Dwellings Loan 1963, £7,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £7,000 authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the erection of or purchase of two dwellings completed with garages, for the use of members of the Council’s staff, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eighty-five thousandths of a penny (0·085d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board Building Loan 1964, £150,000
Pursuant to section 45 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£150,000) authorised to be raised by the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing part of the cost of a new office building in Palmerston North to carry on the Board’s business, the said Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of three-nineteenths (³⁄₁₉) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board District as defined in the Proclamation appearing in the Gazette, No. 40, 16 June 1955, pages 963–964; and
