Additional Land at Moerewa Taken for the Purposes of Kawakawa-Grahamtown Railway and for Road Diversion in Connection Therewith

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kawakawa-Grahamtown Railway and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road diversion in connection therewith.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 1) 1964

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964,* the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 1) 1964.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 20th day of April 1964.

  2. Goods of the class specified in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1964

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964,* the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1964.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 20th day of April 1964.

  2. Goods of the class specified in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

  3. The Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1960 is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

Goods or classes of goods, as may be approved by the Minister, being bona fide gifts from a person abroad.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

THIS note is not part of the exemption, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
Revokes exemption in Gazette, No. 22, of 31 March 1960, page 440, relating to “Goods, or such classes of goods, as may be approved by the Minister, etc.” Wines, spirits, and wireless broadcast receiving sets are now removed from the list of goods not approved for admission in terms of the exemption.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby dedicates the road reserve described in the Schedule hereto as street.

Declaring Land to be Held by the Oamaru Borough Council for Endowment Purposes

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1962, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes all trusts heretofore affecting the land described in the Schedule hereto and, further, declares the said land to be held by the Corporation of the Borough of Oamaru as endowment land for the general purposes of the Corporation.
