Amending Notice to the Open Season for Game in the South Canterbury Acclimatisation District
The Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the notice published in the Gazette, No. 11, of 5 March 1964, at page 323, relating to the open game season for acclimatisation districts in the South Island is amended as follows:
- In that portion of the Second Schedule which relates to the South Canterbury Acclimatisation District:
By amending the season for chukar only from 2 May to 31 July 1964 inclusive to 2 May to 30 August 1964 inclusive.

Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Clifton and Borough of Waitara
It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Clifton and included in the Borough of Waitara. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, Section 81B, Waitara East District; Area, 17 acres 2 roods 18 perches, more or less.
Secondly, Section 15, Block I, Waitara Survey District: Area, 5 acres 3 roods, more or less.
Thirdly, that part of Howard Street fronting the lands hereinbefore described.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VI, Waimumu Hundred, for the Purposes of the Broadcasting Corporation Act 1961 (Television Transmitter Site)
Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of the Broadcasting Corporation Act 1961 (television transmitter site); and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Gore and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the land should, if they have any objections to the taking of such land, set forth in writing any objections they may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the lands, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objections, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand
Pursuant to section 45 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1933 (as amended by section 23 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment Act 1936), the Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank acting with the authority of the Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that, as from 20 April 1964, the balance to be maintained in the Reserve Bank by each other bank for the time being carrying on business in New Zealand in accordance with the said section 45 shall be such that when added to that bank's holding of Reserve Bank notes, it shall be equal to not less than 16 per cent of its demand liabilities in New Zealand plus 3 per cent of its time liabilities in New Zealand, as shown in the last preceding monthly return furnished by that bank in accordance with section 46 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1933.
Provided that the minimum balance to be maintained at the Reserve Bank shall not be less than 7 per cent of its demand liabilities in New Zealand, plus 3 per cent of its time liabilities in New Zealand.
For the purpose of this calculation a bank's holding of Reserve Bank notes shall be as shown in the latest available weekly return provided under the Statistics Act 1955.
