Closely Populated Locality Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
SCHEDULE
Situated within Waikato County adjacent to Ngaruawahia:
- Kent Street (from the northern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough to a point 6 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said street from the said boundary).

Closely Populated Locality and Limited Speed Zone Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
- That the Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 18th day of February 1964† which relates to Tokoroa in Matamata County is hereby revoked.
- The area specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*
FIRST SCHEDULE
Situated within Matamata County:
All that area at Tokoroa Township, in Blocks VII, VIII, and XII of Patetere South Survey District, commencing at a point where the Matarawa Stream intersects the northern side of Maraetai Road and then bounded as follows: to the west by the right bank of the Matarawa Stream to a point 10 chains west of Paraonui Road where the production of the boundary between part Lot 4 and part Lot 6, D.P. 23866, intersects the said right bank; to the north by the said produced line and the said boundary to and across the Putaruru-Kinleith railway line; to the east by the eastern boundary of the said railway line to the centre line of the Whakauru Stream; to the north by the centre line of the said stream to its intersection with the western boundary of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); to the east by the western boundary of the said State highway; to the south by the southern boundaries of D.P. 33685 and Lot 18, D.P. 23865; to the west by the eastern boundary of Lot 17, D.P. 23865, and of Lot 5, D.P. 32554, and that boundary produced to intersect the northern side of the Maraetai Road; to the south by the northern side of the said road to the point of commencement; as the said area is more particularly shown on the plan marked T.T. 2392 deposited in the Head Office of the Transport Department in Wellington.
SECOND SCHEDULE
Situated within Matamata County at Tokoroa:
No. 1. State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from the Whakauru Stream to a point 26 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Maraetai Road).
Mossop Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 20 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from the said State highway).

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940,* the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940* to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Declaring Land in the South Auckland Land District to be Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948
Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice:

The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
All that area of land containing 16 acres 2 roods 28.9 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 28499, and part Lot 3, D.P. 1053, being part Allotment 9, Pepepe Parish, situated in Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 1290, folio 16, South Auckland Registry (S.O. 42384), and being delineated on a plan deposited in the Head Office of the Mines Department at Wellington under H.O. file 11/12/12.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for a hall site over the land described in the Schedule hereto and, further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Waitemata County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.
