A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Gov-
ernor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim that the
road described in the Schedule hereto is closed and shall vest
in Daniel O'Connor, of Appleby, farmer.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 3 roods 11 perches situated
in Block II, Waimea Survey District, Nelson R.D., adjoining
or passing through parts Section 187, Waimea East District;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 18307 (S.O. 10365) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency, the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 8th day of April 1964.

10307) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described
in the Schedule hereto being taken, subject to the rights of
way created by conveyance No. 183042 (R 133/30) and
granted by deed of grant No. 231287 (R 222/514), for muni-
cipal buildings.

The Forest Gate Cemetery Order 1964

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 6th day
of April 1964

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Forest Gate Cemetery
    Order 1964.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
    May 1964.

  2. The Waipawa County Council is hereby appointed to be
    the trustee of the Forest Gate Cemetery, being the area
    described in the Schedule hereto, and shall have the control
    and management of that cemetery under and for the purposes
    of the Cemeteries Act 1908.

  3. (1) The delegation to the Waipawa County Council of
    the powers of appointing and removing trustees of the said
    cemetery made by Order in Council dated the 18th day of
    September 1933* is hereby revoked.
    (2) The said Order in Council is hereby accordingly amended
    by omitting from the second column of the Schedule the
    words “Forest Gate” where they appear opposite the reference
    to the Waipawa County Council in the first column of the
    Schedule.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District containing
3 acres and 4·5 perches, more or less, being Section 17,
Block VIII, Ruataniwha Survey District; as shown on plan
marked 191/2/212 held in the office of the Department of
Health, Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 1858L)
