A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Housing Amendment Act 1938, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the State housing land within the meaning of the Housing Act 1955, described in the Schedules hereto, is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of Street at Balclutha

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Balclutha Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation, dated the 23rd day of February 1949, published in Gazette, 24 February 1949, Vol. I, page 619, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3990, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington-Napier via Woodville railway (portion of Rimutaka Tunnel deviation) in so far as it affects Lot 5, D.P. 21952, being part Section 221, Hutt District, Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 953, folio 75, Wellington Registry.

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Taranaki Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same, at the date hereof.
