Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 21—Change in
Venue of Public Inquiry Into Import Duties on Bicycles
and Parts and Accessories of Bicycles

NOTICE is hereby given that the public inquiry by the Tariff
and Development Board into import duties on bicycles and
parts and accessories of bicycles, which was to have been
held in the Boardroom, First Floor, New Zealand Law Society
Building, Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, commencing at
10 a.m. on Tuesday, 12 May 1964, will now be held at that
time and on that date in Room 102, First Floor, Departmental
Building, Stout Street, Wellington.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Ashburton
(Notice No. Ag. 7950)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and
to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section
9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes
of the said section, the following special order, made
by the Ashburton County Council on the 6th day of May
1963, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, pursuant to the provision of section 3 of the Noxious
Weeds Act 1950, the Council of the County of Ashburton
hereby resolves by way of special order that

Common broom (Cytisus scoparius),
Gorse (Ulex, any species), and
Barley grass (Hordeum murinum)
be noxious weeds within the Country of Ashburton.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the
Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Waikato Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of
the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described
in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions
of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land
being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 26 April 1937,
published in the Gazette, 29 April 1937, Volume I, page 1077,
and registered as No. K. 20314.
