Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council, hereby declares the pieces
of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government
road and hereby stops the said road.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Block XVI, Christ-
church Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 0 12·2 Rural Section 120.
0 0 17·2 Rural Sections 120 and 122.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 18282 (S.O. 8338) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.

County to be County Road

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 31st day
of March 1964

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the portion of road described in the
Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order
in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of Halcrows Road situated in Block XIV,
Paeroa Survey District, Rotorua County, commencing at the
north-western corner of Section 12 of the aforesaid Block
XIV and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction
generally for a distance of approximately 79 chains and
terminating at a point approximately 18·5 chains from the
north-western corner of Section 17 of the aforesaid Block
XIV.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 18299 (S.O. 40360) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red and marked A-B.

Authorising Carter Merchants (Maramarua) Ltd. to Erect and
Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Westland

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 31st day
of March 1964

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Carter Merchants
(Maramarua) Ltd., a duly incorporated company, having its
registered office at Auckland (hereinafter referred to as the
licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to
lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines
described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall
form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may
be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
2. This licence is issued under the Electrical Supply Regula-
tions 1935 and is subject thereto, and to the Electrical Wiring
Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958,
and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof
or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
3. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs
(a), (b), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the
Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
4. Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall con-
tinue in force until the 31st day of March 1984.
SCHEDULE
Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the systems of
supply hereinbefore described within the licensee’s sawmill
settlement at Okuru in the County of Westland, commencing
at the licensee’s generator situated in the powerhouse adjacent
to the main mill and proceeding in a south-westerly direction
generally, including four crossings of the Jackson Bay-Haast
road, to a workshop, office building, pilot mill, pumphouse,
cookhouse, and various residences.
The said lines and buildings being more particularly shown
on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 620 deposited in the office of
the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Revoking the Vesting of Land in the Alexandra Borough
Council for Tree-planting Purposes

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 23rd day
of March 1964
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 29th day of
January 1929, and published in Gazette, 7 February 1929,
Vol. I, page 352, an area of Crown land was vested, subject
to the conditions set forth in the said Order in Council, in
the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of
Alexandra for tree-planting purposes, pursuant to section 20
of the Land Laws Amendment Act 1926:
And whereas it is expedient that the aforesaid Order in
Council should be revoked in so far as it relates to the land
described in the Schedule hereto:
And whereas the said Alexandra Borough Council has duly
consented to such revocation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection 2 of section 20 of
the Land Laws Amendment Act 1926, and of every other
power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the
aforesaid Order in Council, dated the 29th day of January
1929, in so far as it relates to the land described in the
Schedule hereto.

SECTION 110, Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District: Area,
28 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 12396). Also part Section
88, Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District: Area, 65 acres

marked L. and S. 1/531D deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon
edged red (S.O. Plan 855).
