AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Amuri County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,200 authorised to be raised by the Amuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Workers’ Dwelling Loan 1951 which matures on 20 March 1964, the said Amuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·019 pence in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Amuri; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Amuri County Council held on the 7th day of February 1964.

WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board resolves:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment and repayment charges and all other expenses on the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board’s Reticulation Extension Loan 1963, £100,000, to be raised pursuant to the above-mentioned authority, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one thirtieth part of one penny (1/30d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the rateable property in the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power District; and that such special rate be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the aforesaid loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, but not exceeding a period of 20 years.”

Pensioners’ Cottages (Harewood Park) Loan 1964, £22,400
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £22,400 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for aged persons, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0069127d. (pence) in the £ (pound) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Waimairi; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,500 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing footpaths and kerbing and channelling and reconstruction and sealing roads, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·029308d. (pence) in the £ (pound) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Wairarapa Riding of the County of Waimairi; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing kerbing and channelling and reconstructing and sealing roads, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·056316d. (pence) in the £ (pound) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Avonhead Riding of the County of Waimairi; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Electrical Reticulation Loan 1963, £25,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of paying the annual charges on a loan of £25,000 being the Electrical Reticulation Loan 1963 of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the above Act for the purpose of further reticulating the Council’s district, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal six eight six pence (0·686d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Rangiora; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twelve (12) years, or until the loan is paid off.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the Wairoa Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely a pedestrian access way, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land hereby required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the Wairoa Borough Council situated in Queen Street, Wairoa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land who have any well grounded objections thereto must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Wairoa Borough Council Chambers.

Change of Mount Wellington District Scheme Approved
Pursuant to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that a change of the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act, for the Borough of Mount Wellington relating to the areas and matters set forth in the Schedule to this notice was approved by the Mount Wellington Borough Council, by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 9th day of March 1964, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the change of the scheme has been disposed of and the change of the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed.
