hereby makes a special rate of nineteen one-thousandths
of a penny (.019d.) in the pound on the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and
that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly
on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of
the said loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE IN CONNECTION WITH
THE WELLINGTON CITY CIVIC DEVELOPMENT LOAN, 1963, OF
£50,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 11th day of March
1964:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) to be known as
the Wellington City Civic Development Loan, 1963, of £50,000,
authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing
properties required for civic development works, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of nineteen
one-thousandths of a penny (0·019d.) in the pound on the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington;
and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the
currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty-five (35)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

THE WELLINGTON CITY HOUSING LOAN No. 2, 1963, OF
£40,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 11th day of March
1964:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of forty thousand pounds (£40,000) to be known
as the Wellington City Housing Loan No. 2, 1963, of
£40,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
erecting accommodation for old people and rental units
for single people, the Wellington City Council hereby makes
a special rate of twelve one-thousandths of a penny (0·012d.)
in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the un-
improved value) of all rateable property within the whole of
the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April
in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a
period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loans 1964
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on the renewal loans detailed in the Schedule hereunder
and which are authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
meeting 4 per cent loans due for repayment in the first half
of the coming financial year, the Dunedin City Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0·26475d. in the pound (£)
upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City
of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin;
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loans and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency
of the loans, being a period of 10 years, or until the loans are
fully paid off.”

NORTH AUCKLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is
hereby given that the North Auckland Electric Power Board
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the use
of electrical works; and notice is hereby further given that a
plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the
branch office of the Board situated in Albert Street, Whangarei,
and is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons
during ordinary business hours. Every person affected by the
proposed taking of the said land who has any objection, not
being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation,
to the taking of the said land should state his or her objection
in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from
the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the
Board at the Board’s office, Normanby Street, Dargaville.
SCHEDULE
ALL the land containing 10 acres and 29·1 perches, more or
less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 31662, and part Lot 10, D.P.
251, excepting all mines, beds, and seams of coal and other
minerals upon or beneath the surface of the said part Lot 10,
D.P. 251. The said part Lot 2, D.P. 31662, being also part of
the land shown as road on D.P. 432. Both lots being situated
in Block XVI, Purua S.D., and all contained in certificate
of title, Volume 2044, folio 94.
Encumbrances: Subject as to the part Lot 10, D.P. 251, to
mining rights created by transfer 190516.
Fencing covenant in transfer 190516 (affects part Lot 10,
D.P. 251).
Part Lot 2, as described above, fronts on one side Mount

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council
proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the con-
struction of a public road, for which purpose the land
described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by
the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies
open to public inspection at the office of the Council in
Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth
in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execu-
tion of such work or to the taking of such land, not being
an objection to the amount or payment of compensation,
and to send such written objection to the Waipa County
Council, within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice.
