RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
House Sewer Connections Financing Loan 1963, £50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to assist ratepayers with their house sewer connections in the Borough, the said East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three four five pence (‘345d.) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of East Coast Bays; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the East Coast Bays Borough Council held on the 26th day of February 1964.

Stormwater Drainage Loan 1963, £40,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £40,000 authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing stormwater drainage in the Borough, the said East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two seven four five pence (‘2745d.) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of East Coast Bays; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed as a meeting of the East Coast Bays Borough Council held on the 26th day of February 1964.

Roading Loan No. 3, 1963, £180,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £180,000 authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing or overlaying existing road surfaces and providing kerbing and channelling and concrete footpaths in the Borough, the said East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal two three five five pence (1‘2355d.) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of East Coast Bays; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Flats Loan 1963, £10,000

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, that the following resolution was passed by the Thames Borough Council on 26 February 1964:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Thames Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Thames Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0‘17 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Thames comprising the whole of the Borough of Thames; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Aerodrome Loan (1963), £48,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of forty-eight thousand pounds (£48,000), authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of constructing an airport at Wharewaka Point, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal three three one pence (0‘331d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo, comprising the whole of the Borough of Taupo; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Taupo Borough Council at a meeting held on 24 February 1964.

Pensioners’ Housing Loan 1963, £15,500

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taradale Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of securing the payment of annual charges in respect of the Pensioners’ Housing Loan 1963, £15,500, an annually recurring special rate of decimal one six two pence (0‘162d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable land in the Borough of Taradale be and is hereby permanently pledged and appropriated as security for the said charges until the said loan shall be fully repaid.”

Streets Reconstruction Loan (No. 14) 1963, £59,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of fifty-nine thousand pounds (£59,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing Bristol Square, Kiwi Street, and parts of High Street, Pretoria Street, Penrose Street, and Waterloo Road, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three hundred and fifty-four thousandths of a penny (0‘354d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant
