Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 2nd day of March 1964.

Notice Relating to the Use of Insecticides (Notice No. Ag. 7925)

Pursuant to clause 3 (2) of the Stock (Insecticides and Oestrogens) Regulations 1961,* notice is hereby given that in slaughtering places, meat-packing houses, and canneries the approved insecticides set out hereunder, and the conditions applying to their use, are as follows:

(a) Insecticides containing as an active ingredient the chemical pyrethrin in combination with B.P.S. 50 may be used in any part of any premises in which meat or meat products are processed, packed, or stored provided that no meat or meat products except canned meat or canned meat products, are present at the time of application.

(b) Insecticides containing as an active ingredient the chemical pyrethrin in combination with B.P.S. 50 may be used in any part of any slaughtering place, meat-packing house, or cannery which is not used for the purpose of processing, packing, or storing meat or meat products.
