State Housing Land Set Aside for the Purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Maori Housing Amendment Act 1938, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the State housing land, within the meaning of the Housing Act 1955, described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Mount Maunganui to the Purposes of a Street

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Declaring an Area of Land in the Southland Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Southland Acclimatisation District for the purpose of the said Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

Lot 13, D.P. 1289, and the part of Lot 12, D.P. 1289, north of the Fish Creek Channel, being Section 232 and part Sections 8 and 89, Blocks III and VI, Wairio Survey District. Area, 386 acres and 4 perches, more or less.
