PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

O R D E R

  1. This order may be cited as the North Auckland Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the North Auckland Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).
  2. The principal order is hereby amended by deleting the First Schedule thereto and substituting the following:
    ‘FIRST SCHEDULE
    ELECTRIC LINES AND WORKS
    (1) Lines and works for the transmission and supply of electrical energy within the North Auckland Electric Power District as defined in the following Proclamations:

    (2) Lines and works for the transmission of electrical energy through the area of supply of the Whangarei Borough Council, and to give a bulk supply of electrical energy to the Whangarei Borough Council along a route commencing at the reserve at the rear of the Otangarei State housing area, and proceeding thence generally along the Otangarei Stream to a point adjacent to Waiatawa Road, thence south-westerly via Mains Avenue, Ormond Road, and Fourth Avenue, thence in a southerly direction to the boundary of the area of supply of the Whangarei Borough Council.
    (3) Lines and works for the transmission only of electrical energy through the area of supply of the Whangarei Borough Council, commencing in the vicinity of the Whau Valley pumping station, crossing Whau Valley Road in a southerly direction, and also running in a westerly direction along the said Whau Valley Road to the boundary of the Borough of Whangarei.
    As the said lines are shown by means of blue lines on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 627 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.”

Adding Lands to Westland National Park

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Westland National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Westland National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Abel Tasman National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Abel Tasman National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Waitemata County Council to reclaim from the sea in the Taikata Creek, Auckland, 1 acre 1 rood 9 perches of land, more or less, as shown edged green on plan marked M.D. 11688 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
