The variation has been deposited in the Rodney County Council office, Baxter Street, Warkworth; the Public Library, Alnwick Street, Warkworth; the Public Library, Rodney Street, Wellsford; and the office of the Auckland Regional Planning Authority at 26 Princes Street, Auckland, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the variation shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 7 April 1964. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

CITY OF GISBORNE

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Gisborne City District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the City of Gisborne was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on 11 December 1963 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.

The Council has resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 1964.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

Inviting Proposals for the Whangaroa County District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Whangaroa County Council at its meeting held on the 11th day of December 1963 has resolved to prepare for the County of Whangaroa a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “Whangaroa County District Scheme” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk’s office on or before the 2nd day of June 1964.

Hearing of Objections to the Review of the Mount Maunganui Borough Operative District Scheme.

THE Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby gives notice that the hearing of objections to the review of the operative district scheme will commence at the Borough Council Chambers, Maunganui Road, Mount Maunganui, at 10 a.m., on Thursday, the 20th day of February 1964, and will continue as there arranged from time to time and place to place until all objectors and witnesses have been heard.

All persons who wish to be heard in support of or in opposition to any objection shall notify the Council accordingly at least three days before that date.

The following is a summary of the subject matters of objections received by the Council:
