Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of road containing 17 acres 2 roods 23 perches situated in Blocks V and VI, Teviotdale Survey District, Canterbury R.D., adjoining or passing through Rural Sections 23084, 26597, 31588, 26524, 26525, 35154, 31587, 31584, and 31585 and part Rural Section 26478; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 6983 (S.O. 10077) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 30th day of July 1948, published in Gazette, 5 August 1948, Volume II, at page 975, and registered as No. 3923, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of a further portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 30:55 perches situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt, Wellington R.D., being Lot 2, D.P. 13454, being part Section 142, Hutt District. All certificate of title, Volume 528, folio 215, Wellington Land Registry.
