In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Bentons Food Centre Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 103 Atkinson Avenue, Titirangi, Auckland, notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 20th day of November 1963, presented to the said Court by Hydra Cold Storage Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland and carrying on business as curers and exporters; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 13th day of December 1963, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

NOTICE is hereby given by the Public Trustee as executor of the will of Edward Helliар Mason, formerly of Sheffield, but late of McNab, school teacher, that the partnership known as “E. H. and J. B. Mason” was by reason of the death of Edward Helliар Mason on 8 September 1963 dissolved on that date, and that the said farming business has been carried on by James Brian Mason, of McNab, as from the date of dissolution.

RADIO HOUSE (TAIHAPE) LTD.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Radio House (Taihape) Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Taihape, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 31st day of October 1963, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £8,000 to £6,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 26th day of November 1963. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of Radio House (Taihape) Ltd. is divided into 8,000 fully paid ordinary shares of 15s. each having been reduced from £8,000 divided into 8,000 ordinary shares of one pound each fully paid.”

Ltd., a company duly incorporated having its registered office in the City of Christchurch and carrying on business as a clothing manufacturer, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court, dated the 25th day of November 1963, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £4,000 to £2,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above Statute, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 28th day of November 1963.

NOTICE OF ORDER AND MINUTE OF REDUCTION

I, Robert James Mouat, Assistant Registrar of Companies, do hereby give notice that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, made on the 25th day of November 1963, confirming the reduction of capital of V. R. Anderson and Co. Ltd. to £2,000, together with the following minute, was duly registered in pursuance of section 78 of the Companies Act 1955, on 28 November 1963.

MINUTE

“The capital of V. R. Anderson and Co. Ltd. was, by virtue of a special resolution and with the sanction of an order of the Supreme Court, reduced from the former capital of £4,000 divided into 4,000 ordinary shares of £1 each to £2,000 divided into 4,000 ordinary shares of 10s. each. At the date of registration of this minute all the 4,000 ordinary shares of 10s. each are issued and are called and paid to the extent of 10s. per share.

A resolution of the company has been passed to the effect that, upon such reduction of capital taking effect, the capital of the company as so reduced be consolidated into 2,000 shares of £1 each, of which 1,000 of such shares shall be ordinary shares and the remaining 1,000 of such shares shall be designated ordinary B shares, all of which such shares are issued and are fully paid.”

KAIKOURA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners’ Housing Loan 1963, £3,500

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of principal, payment of interest, and other charges on a loan of three thousand five hundred pounds (£3,500) authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura County Council pursuant to the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of building four (4) pensioners’ flats in Kaikoura, the Kaikoura County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twelve one thousandths (0·012) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all the rateable property in the County of Kaikoura; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan has been fully paid off.”

WAIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roads Improvement Supplementary Loan 1963

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waihi Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,900 authorised to be raised by the Waihi Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the improvement of certain roads and streets, the said Waihi Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·50d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Waihi; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Waihi Borough Council held on 15 October 1963.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Commercial Development Loan No. 4, 1963

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of developing Northcote shopping centre and industrial area, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·21d. in the pound upon the rateable value
