Miner, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the
County of Buller

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Robert Joseph
McTaggart, of Runanga, coal miner (hereinafter referred to
as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set
forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric
lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
    the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
    Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall
    form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may
    be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
2. This licence is issued under the Electrical Supply Regula-
tions 1935, and is subject thereto, and to the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations
1958, and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment
thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph
(d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations
1935 and shall be an alternating current system at a normal
rated pressure of 230 V.

DURATION OF LICENCE
4. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall con-
tinue in force until the 31st day of March 1984.

SCHEDULE
Lines for the supply of electrical energy, by the system of
supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the gener-
ator on Thomas James Dunn's section and proceeding in a
northerly direction across a road reserve, between the main
Greymouth-Westport State Highway and the sea and approxi-
mately parallel to the said highway, to a pole on the
licensee's section and thence by underground cable to the
licensee's bach.
All being situated in part road opposite Section I in
Block V, Brighton Survey District, in the County of Buller, the
said lines and buildings being more particularly shown on the
plan marked N.Z.E.D. 619 deposited in the office of the
New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Authorising the Waitemata Electric Power Board to Erect
and Use Certain Electric Lines

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric
Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth the Waite-
    mata Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the
    licensee) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place,
    and use electric lines and to construct the electric works
    described in the Schedule hereto.

  2. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the
    Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring
    Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated herein and shall form
    part of this licence, except in so far as they may be incon-
    sistent with the provisions of this licence.

  3. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by
    the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the
    Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference
    Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment
    thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they
    may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  4. The systems of supply shall be as described in
    paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (j) of regulation
    21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The systems
    of supply authorised under paragraph (j) aforesaid shall be
    a single conductor alternating current earth-return system.
    The use of the earth-return system of supply shall be subject
    to such terms and conditions as are from time to time laid
    down by the General Manager of the New Zealand Electricity
    Department.

  5. This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined,
    continue in force until the 10th day of February 1968.

SCHEDULE

  1. Submarine cable and associated electric works for the
    supply of electrical energy by the systems of supply herein-
    before described leading from the shore of Mullet Bay in
    Block XII, Mahurangi Survey District, and proceeding in a
    north-easterly direction to Goat Island in Blocks III and V,
    Kawau Survey District, and thence in a south-easterly direc-
    tion to a point on the western shore of Kawau Island near
    Momona Point, the route of the said cable being more par-
    ticularly delineated by means of a red line on the plan
    marked N.Z.E.D. 600 deposited in the office of the New
    Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
  2. Lines and associated electric works for the supply of
    electrical energy, by the systems of supply hereinbefore
    described, on and about Kawau Island.
