and in the matter of Launch Services Ltd. (in voluntary
liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of Launch Services Ltd.,
in voluntary liquidation, will be held on the 2nd day of
December 1963, at 2.30 p.m., at the office of the liquidator,
D. Bruce Herrick, 2 Emily Place, Auckland C.1., for the
purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the
winding up of the company has been conducted and the
property of the company has been disposed of, and of giving
any explanation thereof.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Wellington City Housing Loan 1963, £6,500

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 4th day of November
1963:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of six thousand five hundred pounds (£6,500) to
be known as the Wellington City Housing Loan 1963 of
£6,500 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting
further accommodation for old people, the Wellington City
Council hereby makes a special rate of two one-thousandths
of a penny (0·002d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the
said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the
1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said
loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.”

PETONE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION LEVYING SECURITY RATE

Korokoro Sewerage Redemption Loan 1963, £7,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and of all
other powers it thereunto enabling, the Petone Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges
in respect of the said loan, the Petone Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of nineteen four hundredths of
a penny (19/400d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all
rateable property in the Petone Borough, comprising the whole
of the Petone Borough; and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Dated at Petone this 5th day of November 1963.

WESTLAND CATCHMENT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Hari Hari Flat Protection Works Loan 1963, £9,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the West-
land Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £9,000 authorised to be raised by the Westland
Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the
Hari Hari Flat Protection Scheme the said Westland Catch-
ment Board hereby makes special rates as follows:

(i) A rate of 10·44 pence in the pound on the unimproved
value of all rateable property classified as Class
A in the Wanganui River - Hari Hari Flat protection
works special rating district as defined in the
classification list and on plan No. 897/15 deposited
in the office of the said Westland Catchment Board
at Greymouth;

(ii) A rate of 7·54 pence in the pound on the unimproved
value of all rateable property classified as Class B
in the said Wanganui River - Hari Hari Flat pro-
tection works special rating district;

(iii) A rate of 5·22 pence in the pound on the unimproved
value of all rateable property classified as Class
C in the said Wanganui River - Hari Hari Flat
protection works special rating district;

(iv) A rate of 3·48 pence in the pound on the unimproved
value of all rateable property classified as Class
D in the said Wanganui River - Hari Hari Flat pro-
tection works special rating district;

(v) A rate of 2·32 pence in the pound on the unimproved
value of all rateable property classified as Class
E in the said Wanganui River - Hari Hari Flat
protection works special rating district;

(vi) A rate of 1·16 pence in the pound on the unimproved
value of all rateable property classified as Class E
in the said Wanganui River - Hari Hari Flat pro-
tection works special rating district.

The special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the
31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution duly passed by the Westland Catchment Board
at its meeting held on the 29th day of October 1963.

WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Hawarden-Waikari Water Supply and Sewerage Loan 1962
for £93,500

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Waipara
County Council, held at the Council Chambers, Waikari, on
Monday, the 11th day of November 1963, the following
resolution was passed:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £93,500 authorised to be raised by the Waipara
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of meeting the cost of constructing works to provide
a piped water supply in the Hawarden-Waikari water supply
area and sewerage and sullage disposal systems in the
Hawarden-Waikari urban drainage areas and expenses inci-
dental thereto, the said Waipara County Council hereby
makes a special rate of 2·1d. in the pound upon the capital
value of all rateable property of the Hawarden-Waikari water
supply and sewerage special rating area, comprising the
several properties more particularly described in the special
roll for such area deposited and available for inspection at
the office of the Waipara County Council at Waikari; and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
