Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Gore Borough Council on 18 February 1963:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Gore Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said Borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the above Act.”

Declaration that a Reserve Form Part of the Pohara Domain

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Pohara Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Declaration that Part of the Pakuranga Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Pakuranga Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

This notice is issued in substitution for the notice dated 12 September 1963 and published in Gazette, 19 September, No. 56, page 1462, and that notice is hereby revoked.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and, further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by Waitemata County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.
