NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was,
on the 26th day of September 1963, presented to the said
Court by G. H. McCallum Ltd. of Manurewa; and that the
said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting
at Auckland on the 25th day of October 1963, at 10 o’clock
in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributary of the
petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by
his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will
be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contri-
butary of the said company requiring a copy on payment of
the regulated charge for the same.

ASHLEY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Karetu Bridge Loan 1963
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ashley
County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £3,000 authorised to be raised by the
Ashley County Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of constructing a reinforced-concrete bridge at
Karetu, the said Ashley County Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of ·0325 of a penny in the pound upon
the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rate-
able property of the whole of the County of Ashley; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the
1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being for a
period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
meeting of the Ashley County Council held on the 3rd day of
October 1963.

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ota-
matea County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of purchasing plant and equipment, the said Otamatea
County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven
pence (·7d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved
value of all rateable property in the Otamatea County; and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is
paid off.”
This resolution was passed at a meeting of the Otamatea
County Council held on Wednesday, 18 September 1963.
