DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

Notice is hereby given that the partnership subsisting between William Thomas Fitzgerald, of Tirau, farmer, and Denzil Iles, of Tauranga, storekeeper, carrying on business as farmers at Tirau under the title of Glade Farm has been dissolved by mutual consent as from 31 March 1961.

Application has been made to the above company to issue a new certificate of title in lieu of original certificates Nos. 19977 and 46963 issued in the name of Sheelah Lyster Ball, now deceased, the executors in the estate having made a statutory declaration that the original certificates of title to the said stock have been lost.

Notice is hereby given that unless, within 30 days from the date hereof, there is made to the company some claim or representation in respect of the said original certificates a new certificate will be issued in place thereof.

WHANGAREI HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei Harbour Board hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £974,400, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act and in terms of the Whangarei Harbour Board Empowering Act 1963 for the purpose of meeting additional costs of providing requirements preliminary to and arising out of the establishment of an oil refinery at Marsden Point, the Whangarei Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of one and three-quarters pence (1¾d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Whangarei Harbour District comprising the Borough of Whangarei, the Town Districts of Kamo and Hikurangi, and the County of Whangarei, excepting out of such county that portion thereof comprised in the Waipu River District as defined in Proclamation published in the Gazette on the 1st day of March 1900; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Whangarei Harbour Board held on the 27th day of September 1963.

HUTT VALLEY DRAINAGE BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR MAIN OUTFALL SEWER

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter of the Hutt Valley Drainage Act 1948.

Notice is hereby given that the Hutt Valley Drainage Board, duly incorporated under the provisions of the Hutt Valley Drainage Act 1948, proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and of every other Act and power it thereunto enabling, to execute a public work, namely, the construction for and in connection with the maintenance and operation of a main outfall sewer and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Board situate at the Lower Hutt City Council Administration Building, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours.

All persons who are affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said lands should state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the Board at the above address.
