Exclusion From Speed Limitation and Limited Speed Zone Revoked

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

1. That the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 5th day of October 1961† which relates to Ngaruawahia Borough is hereby revoked.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Ngaruawahia Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from Belt Street to the south-eastern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough).

Huntly West Road (from the north-western boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough to a point 16 chains measured south-easterly and southerly generally along the said road from the said boundary).

Ngaruawahia - Glen Massey road (from the south-western boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough to a point 10 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said boundary).
