PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Manukau County Council stopping the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of the Maori people in the vicinity of Mangaiti.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

This order may be cited as the Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1963, Amendment No. 1 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1963* (hereinafter referred to as “the principal order”).

The principal order is hereby amended by adding to clause 3 of the Schedule thereto a new subclause (c) as follows:
“(c) Commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Te Aroha Borough Council’s Reservoir Reserve and proceeding in a generally south-easterly direction for a distance of 35 chains to the eastern boundary of that Reserve. As the said line is more particularly shown by means of a broken red line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 618 deposited as aforesaid.”

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 15th day of September 1954, and published in the Gazette on the 16th day of the same month at page 1452, authorising Christina Brownlee Stowell, of Wellington, company director, Alexander John Brownlee, of Ruru, Greymouth, mill manager, George Hunter Brownlee, of Havelock, farmer, and Winifred Constance Ellen Smith, of Wellington, housewife, trading together in partnership under the firm name of the Lake Brunner Sawmilling Co., to lay, construct, put up, place, and use certain electric lines.
