Declaring the Borough of Petone to be an Inspected Meat Area (Notice No. Ag. 7840)

Pursuant to section 7A of the Meat Act 1939, as added by section 2 (2) of the Meat Amendment Act 1962, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares the borough of Petone, as constituted from time to time, to be an inspected meat area.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Manawatu (Notice No. Ag. 7839)

Pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Manawatu County Council on the 9th day of July 1963, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

“That the Manawatu County Council resolves by way of special order that the plants Stinking Mayweed (Anthemis cotula), Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), Nodding thistle (Carduus nutans), and Star thistle (Centaurea calcitrapa) be declared as noxious weeds in the County of Manawatu, as from the 14th day of August 1963.”

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Bay of Islands Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of notices dated 12 June 1930 and 15 September 1930 and published in the Gazette of 26 June 1930, Volume II, page 2054, and the Gazette of 25 September 1930, Volume III, page 2851.
