Board Appointed to Have Control of Tasman Memorial Domain

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints

John Alexander Bailey,
Anthony Lester Binns,
Gerald Frank Cheesman,
Ian Kirkwood Bruce Dobbie,
Herbert George Fauchelle,
Angus Graham,
George Robertson Jenkins,
Sydney Arthur Orr, and
Geoffrey Smith

to be the Tasman Memorial Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act as a public domain.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—TASMAN MEMORIAL DOMAIN

Lot 7, D.P.564, being part Section 17, Moutere Hills District, situated in Block I, Moutere Survey District: Also all the land on D.P. 3872 and 4522, being parts of Section 101, Moutere Hills District, situated in Block XII, Motueka Survey District: Total area, 10 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or less. All certificates of title, Volume 39, folio 181; Volume 102, folio 89 and Volume 112, folio 210.

Revocation of Appointment of Waikato Valley Authority and Appointment to Control and Manage

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Waikato Valley Authority as published in Gazette, 6 December 1962, Vol. III, page 2186, and appoints the Waikato County Council to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act as a reserve for soil conservation and river control purposes.

Allotment 324, Whangamarino Parish, situated in Block III, Rangiriri Survey District: Area, 37 acres, more or less. (S.O. Plan 1341c.)

Land Acquired as a Public Reserve and Appointment of Scenic Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the said Act as a scenic reserve, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of Garne and Saville Bays Scenic Reserve to be administered by the Croisilles - French Pass - D’Urville Island Reserves Board.

Pursuant to section 10 of the Urban Farm Land Rating Act 1932, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

to be a member of the Assessment Court for the Borough of Kaikohe, and also to appoint

Neil Garfield Moffat, company secretary, of Kaikohe

on the recommendation of the Kaikohe Borough Council to be a member of the said Assessment Court.
