PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the stopped Government road described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for road from and after the 2nd day of September 1963.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 28th day of August 1963
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the 24th day of June 1963 and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of the street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Auckland City Council being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to that portion of the eastern side of Federal Street fronting part of Allotments 8 and 9, Section 22, City of Auckland, comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1990, folio 99, and more particularly shown coloured red on Plan A2975/2.
SECOND SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
THE eastern side of portion of Federal Street, in the City of Auckland, fronting part land on D.P. 17518 and Lot 1, D.P. 49810, being part Allotments 8 and 9, Section 22, City of Auckland; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 8366 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 9 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the proposed service lane described in the Schedule hereto shall be partly of a width of less than 12 ft but not less than 11 ft 6 in.

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949, and published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Volume II, page 1625, as amended by the Order in Council dated the 12th day of February 1962, and published in Gazette, 15 February 1962, No. 12, page 303, appointing non-elective members of the Wairarapa Catchment Board, by deleting "Farm Advisory Officer (Soil Conservation), Department of Agriculture, Masterton" and substituting "District Soil Conservator, Department of Agriculture, Palmerston North".
