Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for scenic purposes described in the Schedule hereto.

Licensing J. A. Perano and Co. Ltd., to Use and Occupy a Part of the Bed of Te Awati Bay as a Site for a Mooring Buoy

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits J. A. Perano and Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the bed of Te Awati Bay, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11553 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a mooring buoy as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years as from the 1st day of August 1963.

3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds ten shillings (£2 10s.) and the annual sum so payable one pound ten shillings (£1 10s.).

Declaring Area for Operation of Motor Launches

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962, the Minister of Marine hereby declares that, on 7 September and 14 September 1963, the area of water described in the Schedule hereto shall not be subject to sections 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water in the Waimakariri River between the Main Road Traffic Bridge and the Gorge Bridge.

Scheme of Control of Te Awamutu College

PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Te Awamutu College published in the Gazette of 18 June 1953, page 934; and approves of Te Awamutu College being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961.*
