Agreement to Grant Right to Draw Water from Easement Over Land in Block III, Mangakahia Survey District, Taken for the Purposes of a Maori School, in Favour of Ben Armstrong of Helensville, Assented to
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 4th day of December
1962 and published in the Gazette, 6 December 1962, No. 78,
page 2174, an easement over land containing 14.5 perches,
situated in Block III, Mangakahia Survey District, Auckland
R.D., and being part Kaikou No. 3, Lot 3 Block, was taken
for the purposes of a Maori School.
And whereas such Proclamation vested in Her Majesty the
Queen the right, liberty, and licence and authority in perpetuity to convey water along, under, or over the said land
and for that purpose to lay, construct, place, reconstruct,
cleanse, repair and maintain a line of water pipes along,
under, or over the said land, and to construct, use, and
maintain a pump house thereon, such easement being for the
purpose of conveying water from the Kaikou Stream to the
Te Horo Maori School;
And whereas at the date such Proclamation took effect
Ben Armstrong was entitled to compensation in respect of
his interest in the said land;
And whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant
and the said Ben Armstrong has agreed to accept, in part
satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid, the right to draw
water from a stand pipe on the said line of pipes installed
by the Crown at any time during the normal working hours
of the pump installed thereon;
Now, therefore, the Minister of Works doth hereby give
notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928,
that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and how Proceeds of the Sale Shall be Utilised
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over the
land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares
that the said land may be disposed of by the Trustees of the
Waikoikoi Public Library in such manner, at such price, and
on such terms and conditions as the Trustees shall determine,
the proceeds from any such sale to be used and applied in
or towards the cost of the public hall erected on Section 58,
Block X, Glenkenich Survey District. (Waikoikoi public hall
site.)
