The Standards Act 1941-British Standards Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941,
notice is hereby given that the British standards, listed in the
Schedule hereto are being considered for adoption as New Zealand
standard specifications. All persons who may be affected by them
and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain
copies on loan from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen
State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C. 1.
Requests should specify that copies are required for comment
purposes.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 13 September 1963.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the Borough of
Taumarunui (Notice No. Ag. 7833)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and
to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section
9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, for the pur-
poses of the said section, the following special order, made
by the Taumarunui Borough Council on the 10th day of
June 1963, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT pursuant to the provisions of section 3 (1) of the
Noxious Weeds Act 1950, amendments thereto and extension
order 1960, the Taumarunui Borough Council hereby resolves
by way of special order that the plants mentioned in the
Schedule hereto are noxious weeds within the Borough of
Taumarunui.

Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union
PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and
Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration
of the Christchurch Master Tailors' Industrial Union of
Employers, Registered No. 125, situated at 159 Oxford
Terrace, Christchurch, is hereby cancelled as from the date of
the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Law Practitioners Act 1955
PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby
given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand
Law Society, on the 5th day of July 1963, ordered that
Trevor Robert Gillies, of Hamilton, barrister and solicitor,
be suspended from practice as a barrister and solicitor for a
period of three months. And that he pay the sum of seventy-
five pounds (Β£75) towards the costs and disbursements to
the Hamilton District Law Society.
