Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government House at Wellington this 31st day of July 1963
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ahiwaru, Waiohua, and Ngati Mahuta tribes.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 13th day of September 1961, and published in the Gazette on the 14th day of the same month at page 1408, authorising Charles Francis Bowron, of Avon Valley, Marlborough, farmer, to erect and use certain electric lines.

Whangateau-Omaha Harbour Board Dissolved

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
ORDER
- As from the 30th day of September 1963 the Whangateau-Omaha Harbour Board shall be dissolved.
- As from the date aforesaid all the property, debts, liabilities, and engagements of the Whangateau-Omaha Harbour Board shall become the property, debts, liabilities, and engagements of the Rodney County Council.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Whangamomona Rabbit District Order 1963.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Whangamomona Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 22nd day of February 1926,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE WHANGAMOMONA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, being portions of the Stratford, Clifton, and Taumarunui Counties containing 301,180 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 36, Block VI, Ngatimaru Survey District, being a point on the confiscation line; thence north-easterly along the confiscation line to the south-western boundary of Section 11, Block XV, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence along that boundary to and along the western boundary of the said Section 11 and its production to the northern side of Tirangi Road; thence north-westerly along the northern side of that road to the western boundary of Section 9, Block XV, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of the said Section 9 and Sections 1 and 2, Block XVI, to the Waitara Valley Road; thence along the eastern side of that road and the Rerekino Road to the southern boundary of Section 3, Block VIII, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence easterly and northerly generally along the southern boundaries of Sections 3 and 4, Block VIII, and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 5, 6, and 7, Block V, Pouatu Survey District, to the Makino North
