A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no longer required.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the stopped Government road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of August 1963.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of stopped Government road containing 0·2 perches situated in Block XV, Mahurangi Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part stopped Government road in Proclamation 8344; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 8064 (S.O. 42255) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 31st day of July 1963.

Declaring Lands in Taranaki and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the Taranaki and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Taranaki Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

FIRST SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

PART Sections C and D and parts Sections 971, 972, 973, 974, 975, 976, 985, and 986, Town of New Plymouth, part of the said land being Lot 2 on D.P. 4770 and part Lot 17 on D.P. 2572: Area, 1 acre 1 rood 13·49 perches, more or less. All certificates of title, Volume 125, folio 62 (limited as to parcels) and Volume 150, folio 68. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/552R deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plans 573 and 7745.)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.
