Reserve Bank of New Zealand
PURSUANT to section 45 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1933 (as amended by section 23 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment Act 1936), the Governor of the Reserve Bank, acting with the authority of the Minister of Finance hereby gives notice that as from 2 August 1963, the balance to be maintained in the Reserve Bank by each other bank for the time being carrying on business in New Zealand in accordance with the said section 45 shall be such that, when added to that bank’s holding of Reserve Bank notes, it shall be equal to not less than 29 per cent of its demand liabilities in New Zealand, plus 10 per cent of its time liabilities in New Zealand, as shown in the last preceding monthly return furnished by that bank in accordance with section 46 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1933.
Provided that the minimum balance to be maintained at the Reserve Bank shall not be less than 7 per cent of its demand liabilities in New Zealand, plus 3 per cent of its time liabilities in New Zealand.
For the purpose of this calculation a bank’s holding of Reserve Bank notes shall be as shown in the latest available weekly return provided under the Statistics Act 1955.

National Roads Board-Delegation of Power to Enforce Bylaws, etc., Relating to Traffic on State Highways
Pursuant to section 13 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board hereby delegates to the municipalities enumerated in the Schedule hereto, that part of the control of all portions of State Highways situated within the boundaries of those municipalities mentioned against the names of the municipalities on the said Schedule being enforcement of the provisions of any Acts, regulations, or bylaws for the time being in force in so far as they relate to any traffic on such State Highways.

National Roads Board-Notice Prohibiting Fishing from Bridges on State Highways
Pursuant to the National Roads Board Bylaw 1961* No. 1, the Board prohibits fishing from the bridges enumerated in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
- The Wairoa Bridge on No. 2 State Highway at route milage 94·38.
- The Tauranga Harbour Bridge (eastern side only) on No. 2 State Highway at route milage 102·29.
- The single lane Hairini Bridge on No. 2 State Highway at route milage 99·89.
- The two lane Hairini Bridge (eastern side only) on No. 2 State Highway at route milage 99·89.

National Roads Board-Notice Concerning the Stopping and Parking of Vehicles on Roads
It is hereby notified that pursuant to the National Roads Board Bylaw 1958 No. 1,* the Board has by resolutions carried at its meetings on the respective dates in the Schedules hereto-
- Prohibited the parking of vehicles on those portions of State highway described in the First Schedule hereto;
- Prohibited the stopping of vehicles on those portions of State highway described in the Second Schedule hereto in the manner set out herein.
FIRST SCHEDULE
- On the east side of No. 1 State Highway in the Waitemata County for a distance of 20 ft on each side of the entrance to the boat ramp at Hatfields Beach. (18 July 1962.)
- On the east side of No. 1 State Highway in Washdyke Township from a point opposite the northern corner of the Meadows Road intersection and thence in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 5 chains. (19 September 1962.)
- On the southern side of No. 12 State Highway in Maungataroto commencing at the western side of the Anglican Church and extending thence in an easterly direction for a distance of 16 chains to the eastern side of the Maungataroto Police Station. (17 July 1962.)
SECOND SCHEDULE
- On the eastern side of No. 75 State Highway from a point 2 chains north-east of the junction of Nicholls Road and the State Highway to a point 6 chains distance in a southerly direction. (21-22 February 1962.)
- On the east side of No. 2 State Highway from its junction with the Orongo-Netherton Road at route milage 40.87 and thence in a southerly direction for a distance of 260 yards. (21-22 February 1962.)
- On the west side of No. 4 State Highway from a point opposite the north-west corner of the intersection of No. 4 State Highway with the Waimarino-Tokaanu Road and thence in a northerly direction for a distance of 4 chains. (9-10-11 May 1962.)
