APPLICATION FOR A WATER-RACE

CHARLES Desmond Bleach of Ranfurly, farmer, hereby gives
notice that he has applied for a licence for a water-race to
divert 5 heads of water for purposes of irrigation from the
Taieri River in the property of Alistair Barclay Hall, of
Ranfurly, farmer, being Section 27, Block X, Maniototo Dis-
trict, the water to flow by gravity in a pipe line for 32 ft and
thence in an open race in an easterly direction through the
said Section 27 to Section 4, Block XI, being the property
of the applicant, thence in a northerly direction and terminat-
ing in said Section 4.

The application and all objections thereto will be heard on
Wednesday, 28 August 1963, at 10 a.m., at the Warden’s
Court at Cromwell and all objections must be filed in the
Registrar’s Office and notified to the applicant or his solicitors
at least three days before the time so appointed.

HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change to Henderson District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the code change to
the Henderson District Scheme pursuant to Change No. 5 was
approved by Council by resolution passed at its meeting held
on the 16th day of July 1963, there being no objections,
appeals, or arbitrations relating to the said change.

The Council also resolved that the said change shall come
into operation on the 1st day of August 1963. Copies of the
change as approved have been deposited in the Council office,
in the public library in the district and may be inspected
without fee by any person who so requires at any time when
these places are open to the public.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Inviting Proposals for Featherston County District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Featherston County
Council at its meeting held on the 12th day of July 1963, has
resolved to prepare for the Featherston County, a district
scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the
district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited
to submit full information as to the proposals (including
public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be con-
sidered in the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “Featherston County District Scheme”
should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at
the County Clerk’s office on or before the 2nd day of
December 1963.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Changes to the City of Auckland District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned
changes to the District Scheme under the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953 for the City of Auckland were approved
by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on
22 July 1963.

The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned
changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on
the 31st day of July 1963.

Copies of the scheme changes, as approved, have been
deposited in the Council’s office and in every public library
in the district and may be inspected without fee by any
person who so requires at any time when these places are
open to the public.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Departure from Operative Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and its amend-
ments, and of the regulations made thereunder—

That the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board by
order dated the 4th day of July 1963 gave consent to a
departure from the operative district scheme of the City of
Nelson to the extent indicated hereunder.

By permitting the erection on the land set out in the
Schedule hereto of a shop and office, notwithstanding that
the said land is zoned residential B, but subject to the follow-
ing conditions:

(a) That the part of the shop (that is the entrance show
window) shall not face either Golf Road or Centennial
Road.

(b) That the size of the shop be limited to 120 sq. ft. and
not extended at any time.

(c) That the shop hours normally observed in the area be
required to be observed at the shop.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing twenty-five perches (25 p.),
more or less, being Lot 1 on the Deposited Plan 6107 being
part Section 1, Suburban South District, and being part of the
land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume
117, folio 118 (Nelson Registry).
