Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of
Street at Onerahi

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publica-
tion hereof in the Gazette, become a street, and that the said
street shall be under the control of the Whangarei Borough
Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like
manner as other public highways are controlled and main-
tained by the said Council.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the portion of an access way described in the
First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land
now held for State housing purposes described in the Second
Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of access way containing 1·5 perches, situated
in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of Onehunga,
Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 246, D.P. 37885; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 8008 (S.O. 43863) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 11·2 perches,
situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of
Onehunga, Auckland R.D., and being Lots 247, 254, and
296, D.P. 37885. Part certificate of title, Volume 1116, folio
118, North Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 16th day of July 1963.

declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 22nd day of July 1963.
