Vesting Reclaimed Land in the Otago Harbour Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of June 1963
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in the Otago Harbour Board on and from the 1st day of July 1963, the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that land at Carey's Bay, Otago Harbour, comprising 2 roods 14 perches, more or less, as shown edged sepia on plan marked M.D. 11057 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, which land the said Board was authorised to reclaim by Order in Council made on the 2nd day of October 1961.*

Cancelling the Appointment of a Member and the Chairman of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council and Appointing the Chairman of that Council

WHEREAS by Warrant dated the 2nd day of July 1962 and published in Gazette, 12 July 1962, Volume II, page 1113, Edgar Ravenswood McKillop, Esquire, C.M.G., O.B.E., M.INST. C.E., M.N.Z.I.E., of Wellington, civil engineer, was appointed to be a member and Chairman of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council:
And whereas the said Edgar Ravenswood McKillop has resigned his appointment as a member and Chairman of the said Council:
Now, therefore, pursuant to Section 4 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby cancel the appointment of the said Edgar Ravenswood McKillop as a member and Chairman of the said Council and hereby appoint
Arnold Edwin Clark, Esquire, A.M.I.C.E., of Wellington, registered civil engineer,
to be Chairman of the said Council.

Appointing Members of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 39 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint:
John William Kealy, Esquire, of Auckland, Stipendiary Magistrate, being a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand;
William Francis McArthur, Esquire, of Christchurch, being a person nominated by the Executive Committee of the New Zealand Counties Association, Incorporated; and
Cuthbert Hargreaves Taylor, Esquire, of Wellington, Barrister and Solicitor,
to be members of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board from and including the 8th day of July 1963; and I hereby appoint the said John William Kealy as Chairman of the Board, and the said Cuthbert Hargreaves Taylor as Deputy Chairman of the Board.

Defining the Limits of the Whangarei Harbour Pilotage District
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 211 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define the limits of the Whangarei Harbour Pilotage District, within which pilots may act for the purposes of the said Act, to be that area described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby revoke the Warrant dated the 29th day of August 1958*, defining the limits of the Whangarei Harbour Pilotage District.
SCHEDULE
ALL the waters comprised within the harbour of Whangarei having as their outward seaward limit a right line drawn in a 270° direction from Busby Head to the shore, and in addition, those waters enclosed within parallel lines drawn one mile on either side of a right centre line drawn in a 140° direction for a distance of 4·5 miles from Marsden Point inner leading beacon, the outward seaward limit being bounded by a right line drawn in a 050°/230° direction through the seaward extremity of the right centre line.

Trustees of Kotinga Public Cemetery Appointed
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint the Golden Bay County Council to be the trustees of the Kotinga Public Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, and the said Council shall have the control and management of that cemetery.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District containing 1 acre and 2 perches, more or less, being portion of Part 3, Section 138, Takaka District, situated in Block X, Waitapu Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 141, folio 9, Nelson Registry, limited as to parcels; as shown on plan marked 191/2/671 held in the office of the Department of Health, Wellington, and thereon edged red (D.P. 2514).
