Notice Under the National Savings Act 1940, Section 4

PURSUANT to section 4 of the National Savings Act 1940, the
Minister of Finance hereby prescribes that the 24th investment
period shall run from 30 June 1963 to 30 June 1964.
The rate of interest to be paid on investments in an invest-
ment account during such investment period shall be 3½ per
cent.
Moneys invested during such investment period by deposit in
an investment account shall be repayable on the 30th day of
June 1966.
Provided that where interest is not withdrawn in terms of
section 8 (2) of the said Act and is added to the principal
moneys of the investor, such amount of interest, together with
interest thereon, shall be repayable on the 30th day of June
1964.

Notice Under the National Savings Act 1940, Section 5

PURSUANT to section 5 of the National Savings Act 1940, the
Minister of Finance hereby authorises the trustees of the
under-mentioned savings banks (being savings banks con-
stituted under the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1948) to receive
investments by way of deposit in investment accounts, under
the National Savings Act 1940, during the investment period
expiring 30 June 1964.

Declaration That Part of the Knottingly Park Domain Shall
be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation
Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Knottingly Park
Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be
subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and
Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation
reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, revokes
the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Coromandel County
Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby
sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve
for esplanade purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves
and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Coromandel,
in trust, for that purpose.
