A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 4 of
the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton
Motorway.

North Auckland Land District

All that piece of land containing 15·4 perches situated in
Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland,
Auckland R.D., and being Lot I, Deeds Plan 1275. All
certificate of title, Volume 517, folio 16, North Auckland
Land Registry (limited as to parcels).

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was taken
for the purposes of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway and
is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the
publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that
such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board
in like manner as other public highways are controlled and
maintained by the said Board.

Wellington Land District

All that piece of land containing 1·17 perches situated in
Block XV, Nukumaru Survey District, Wellington R.D., being
part railway land; as the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked M.O.W. 6619 (S.O. 24870) deposited in
the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured sepia.
